Removing Control Unit For Rear Lid

NOTE: Voltage peaks

Risk of damage to load or to the control unit

→ Switch off ignition and remove remote control before disconnecting or removing load.

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

Assembly work may only be carried out if the mechanic is wearing the working clothes and shoes approved by Porsche.
The new part must only be removed from the ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging just before installation and at the position at which the part is to be installed.
Never touch the electric pins and plug contacts.

Release electric plug connection -1 and 2- from control unit for rear lid and disconnect it -A- .
Release electric plug connection -3- (-a- ) and turn release element -4- 90° anti-clockwise -B- . Disconnect electric plug connection from control unit for rear lid.

Pull both buttons -1- towards each other. Push control unit -2- to the right and remove it from the lid.
