Removing Rear Power Window Motor

WARNING: Electrically moved components

Danger of limbs being trapped or severed

→ Switch off electric power to drive motor.

→ Make sure it does not switch on again.

→ Check that there is no electric charge.

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.
Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well.

The end positions of the power windows are deleted from the control unit when the electric connectors are disconnected and connected.

NOTE: Voltage peaks

Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit

Unscrew three fastening screws -1- for the rear power window motor -2- .

Pull rear power window motor -2- out of the toothing.
Release and pull off electric plug connection -3- (-a- ).
