Removing Front Window Regulator Motor

WARNING: Electrically moved components

Danger of limbs being trapped or severed

→ Switch off electric power to drive motor.

→ Make sure it does not switch on again.

→ Check that there is no electric charge.

NOTE: Voltage peaks

Risk of damage to load or to the control unit

→ Switch off ignition and remove remote control before disconnecting or removing load.

Information

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.
Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well.

Information

The end positions of the power windows are deleted from the control unit when the electric connectors are disconnected and connected.

Unscrew three fastening screws -1- for the front window regulator motor -2- .

Pull the front window regulator motor -2- out of the splines.
Release and pull off electric plug connection -3- (-a- ).
