Installing Rear Window Guide

To make it easier to install the window guide in the door channel area, this section of the window guide must be moistened with a soapy solution.

Information

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle.
Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well.
These must be carried out as a mirror image of the steps shown.

Position and fit the window guide on the rear door window frame at the top.
Do not kink or bend the window guide out of shape during installation.

Install cover for rear door. → INSTALLING COVER FOR REAR DOOR
Fit window guide on door window frame.
Check that the window guide is seated securely.

Clip in rear window guide. Check that it is seated correctly.
Replace damaged clips.
