Installing Side Airbag

Pull line through the backrest frame to the underside of the seat.
Pull line through the protective sleeve and fasten tie-wrap -1- on the seat wire harness.

Secure fixing clips -1- under the seat.

Slide the side airbag -1- up into the loop -3- (-A- ) and fit it into the bracket -B- .
1. 5.1. On vehicles from model year 2011 to 2014, there is a possibility that the backrest padding will no longer have a loop -3- . The backrest padding is installed using a loop.
  If a new backrest padding is installed, it will no longer have a loop -3- .
Tighten fastening screw -2- on side airbag -1- to → Tightening Torque: 9 Nm (6.5 ft. lb.) until secure.
Fold back padding for front backrest at the outer side bolster. → INSTALLING PADDING FOR FRONT BACKREST - section on "Installing"
