Installing Rear Three-Point Belt At The Left And Right

  1. Insert seat-belt pretensioner mount -3-  into the bracket in the bodyshell -4-  .

    Information 

    Always replace the fastening screws on the three-point seat belt. The micro-self-locking screws must not be treated (e.g. greased) or loosened and then screwed on again.

  2. Tighten fastening screw -1-  on seat-belt pretensioner -2-  to → Tightening Torque: 50 Nm (37 ft. lb.)  until secure.

    Information 

    When routing the electric lines, make sure that they are not routed through the belt-coiling area.

  3. Plug in electric plug connection -1-  (-A-  ) and close the locking mechanism -a-  .

    Do not twist the three-point belt during installation!

    Information 

    Once the fastening screw has been tightened, the belt lug must level out on its own in a vertical position or in the relevant support direction.

  4. Tighten fastening screw -1-  on the belt lug at the bodyshell to → Tightening Torque: 50 Nm (37 ft. lb.)  until secure.
