Adapting Calibration Mats

The following tools are required: Calibration system WE 1606

The calibration system must be adapted in order to be able to use it for the Cayenne and Macan.

The adaptation must only be carried out once and does not have to be reset.

Adaptation also ensures that the system can be used for the Panamera.

Adapt front and rear calibration mats (VAS 6905/2) from the calibration system WE 1606 as follows:
1. 1.1. Spread out front and rear calibration mats (VAS 6905/2) on a clean, flat surface.
2. 1.2. At the outer left and right respectively, tape the transverse lines using 38 - 50 mm wide adhesive strips -1- running along the longitudinal axis of the vehicle → Taping front and rear calibration mats (VAS 6905/2) .
  Adhesive strips must be the same color as the calibration mats so as not to affect the contrast .
  
  Adhesive strips must not change the width of transverse and longitudinal lines .
  
  The tape must be affixed in the same way at the front and rear.

Adapt calibration mats for left and right side panel (VAS 6905/1) from the calibration system WE 1606 as follows:

1. 2.1. Spread out calibration mats for left and right side panel (VAS 6905/1) on a clean, level surface.
2. 2.2. Tape the respective rear transverse line using 38 - 50 mm wide adhesive strips -2- running along the longitudinal axis of the vehicle.
  Adhesive strips must be the same color as the calibration mats so as not to affect the contrast .
  
  Adhesive strips must not change the width of transverse and longitudinal lines .
  
  The tape must be affixed on the left side as a mirror image of the right side.
3. 2.3. Tape the front transverse lines using 38 - 50 mm wide adhesive strips -3- running transversely with respect to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle so that they are distinguished from the longitudinal lines.
  Adhesive strips must be the same color as the calibration mats so as not to affect the contrast .
  
  Adhesive strips must not change the width of transverse and longitudinal lines .
  
  The tape must be affixed on the left side as a mirror image of the right side.
