Removing Control Unit For Lane Change Assist

For trouble-free operation, Lane Change Assist must be calibrated after the following work is carried out on the vehicle:
- When one or both Lane Change Assist control units are replaced .
- When the installation position of one or both Lane Change Assist control units is changed .
- When body repairs are carried out on the rear of the vehicle .
- When the rear bumper is removed or moved out of position .
Information
Lane Change Assist has two control units:
- The master control unit on the left and
- the slave control unit on the right .
- Switch off ignition and remove remote control (hand-held transmitter).
- Unscrew the three fastening screws -1- .
- Open the retaining clips for the electric connector -a- and disconnect connector -A- from the control unit.
