Installing Antenna Line (GPS Antenna For PCM)

NOTE:
Voltage peaks
- Risk of damage to load or to the control unit
→ Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.
Information
- The new lines will be secured to the fastening points for the old lines .
- The old wire harness remains installed in the vehicle .
- The old wire harness will only be disconnected/unplugged directly at the connected components .
Information
- When installing the wire harness, make sure the insulation of the line is not damaged .
- Remove cover on front camera -1-

- 1.1. Carefully loosen cover on front camera -1- at the bottom, in the mirror base area, using a plastic wedge.
- 1.2. Carefully loosen cover on front camera -1- at the rear left and right sides using a plastic wedge.
- 1.3. Pull cover on front camera -1- out of the centering device and remove it -A- .
- Release electric plug connection -2- on GPS antenna -1- (-a- ) and disconnect it -A- .
- Cut off the connectors on the damaged antenna line, then insulate it and tie it to the main wire harness.
- Route the new antenna line along the main wire harness, guide it through the existing cable ducts and tie it to the main wire harness using tie-wraps.
- Plug in antenna line -2- at the GPS antenna -1- until it engages securely.
