Removing Switch For Memory Seat Adjustment

Information

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle .
Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well .
These must be carried out as a mirror image of the steps shown for the front and rear .

NOTE: Voltage peaks

Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit

Pull off electric plug connection for switch for memory seat adjustment.

Unscrew five fastening screws -1- on cover for door opener from the inside of the door panel.

Unscrew two fastening screws -2- on switch for memory seat adjustment.
Slide cover for door opener with switch up slightly -A- , pull it out of the bracket and then remove it by pulling it forward -B- .

Remove switch for memory seat adjustment -4- from cover for door opener -3- by pulling it inwards.
