Removing Lock For 2/3-Split Folding Rear Backrest

  1. Remove the left trim panel on the 2/3-split folding rear seat.
    1. 1.1. Unscrew the fastening screw -1-  on the seat trim -2- at the left.

      Press the control lever up to do this.

    2. 1.2. Carefully unclip the trim panel -2- at the retaining lugs -3-  on the seat.
    3. 1.3. Carefully pull the trim panel up and remove it.
  2. Remove the lever for the locking mechanism.

    1. 2.1. Unscrew fastening screw -1-  from the locking mechanism -2-  .
    2. 2.2. Carefully unclip and remove the lever -2-  together with the joint at the locking lug -3-  .
  3. Carefully unclip the locking lug -1-  on the handle -2-  of the locking mechanism using a suitable tool -3-  and remove it from the lever -4-  . Then pull off the handle.
