Installing Lock For 2/3-Split Folding Rear Backrest

Install the lever -2- for the locking mechanism.

1. 1.1. Fit the joint on the retaining pin -3- and check that it engages securely.
2. 1.2. Screw in fastening screw -1- for the locking mechanism and tighten to → Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)+/-2 Nm (+/-1.5 ftlb) .
Install left trim panel on 2/3-split folding rear seat.

1. 2.1. Guide the trim panel into position on the seat from above and engage it securely at the clips.
2. 2.2. Screw in fastening screw and tighten to → Tightening torque: 2 Nm (1.5 ftlb.).
Slide the handle -1- of the locking mechanism onto the lever -2- until the locking lug engages securely -3- .
