Installing Lock For 1/3-Split Folding Rear Backrest

Fit the joint -1- of the locking mechanism onto the pin -2- and check that it engages securely.

Install the lever for the locking mechanism.

1. 2.1. Carefully clip the lever -1- for the locking mechanism onto the locking lug -2- on the locking mechanism joint.
2. 2.2. Screw in fastening screw -3- for the locking mechanism and tighten to → Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ftlb.)+/-2 Nm (+/-1.5 ftlb) .
Install right trim panel on 1/3-split folding seat.

1. 3.1. Guide the trim panel -2- into position on the seat from above and engage it securely at the clips -3- .
2. 3.2. Screw in fastening screw -1- and tighten to → Tightening torque: 2 Nm (1.5 ftlb.).
Slide the handle -1- of the locking mechanism onto the lever -2- until the locking lug engages securely -3- .
