Removing Front Seat Trim: Notes

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle .
Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well .
These must be carried out as a mirror image of the steps shown for the front and rear .

Information

To reduce the unclipping forces and thereby the risk of damage during removal, the removal steps must be carried out at the accessible connection points using a suitable tool.

Move front seat to the rearmost position.
Press in expansion rivet pin -1- and pull out the expansion rivet.

Pull the outside of the seat trim -2- at the rear outwards -A- and press it up at the same time -B- .
Pull the outside of the seat trim -2- forward out of the bracket -C- .

Release electric plug connection for seat adjustment -a- and pull it off -A- .
