Cuts can be made in the defined areas in the outer side member due to the parts dimensions. The purpose of the different cuts is to keep the repair area as small as possible in the event of damage.
The diagram should help you to determine the correct position of cuts.
A-B-C - Cuts for replacing outer side member.
A-E or D-E - Cuts for replacing outer side member (front section).
C-F - Cuts for replacing outer side member (rear section).
E-F - Cuts for replacing B-pillar.
