Removing B-Pillar

Information 

Mark cuts A, B, D and E  in accordance with the new part. Make sure to leave an overlap of approx. 3 cm with respect to the body.

Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.

  1. Mark and make cuts.

    → Distance to edge of roof: 30 mm

  2. Grind down laser-welded seams.

  3. Drill out spotwelds using spotweld drill  .

  4. Heat up connection areas using a hot-air gun.

  5. Remove B-pillar.
