Installing A-Pillar Reinforcement

Apply adhesive.

1. 1.1. Evenly apply adhesive to the marked areas.
  Working with body structural adhesive → 5X00IN WORKING WITH BODY STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE
Fit and secure A-pillar reinforcement.
Observe gap dimensions. → 5X00IN DIAGRAM - BODY GAP DIMENSIONS
Weld in A-pillar reinforcement.

1. 3.1. Resistance spot-weld A-pillar reinforcement.

  When welding slots, make sure that both edges of the slot are welded through.

2. 3.2. Slot-weld A-pillar reinforcement in the area -A- using inert gas.
3. 3.3. Spot-weld A-pillar reinforcement using inert gas.
