Installing A-Pillar: Notes

Apply adhesive and body sealant.
1. 1.1. Evenly apply adhesive to the marked areas.
  Working with body structural adhesive → 5X00IN WORKING WITH BODY STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE
2. 1.2. Apply body sealant all around the sealing element in the area -A- .
  Body sealant from Wurth glue and seals

Fit and secure outer side member (front section) and A-pillar.
Observe gap dimensions. → 5X00IN DIAGRAM - BODY GAP DIMENSIONS
Weld in A-pillar and outer side member.
1. 3.1. Resistance spot-weld A-pillar and outer side member.

2. 3.2. Plug-weld A-pillar and outer side member using inert gas.

3. 3.3. Apply a full weld to A-pillar and outer side member using inert gas.
