Removing C-Pillar Reinforcement (Section)

Remove rear side section. → 535555 REPLACING REAR SIDE SECTION - section on "Removing"
Remove outer side member (rear section). → 514555 REPLACING OUTER SIDE MEMBER - section on "Removing"
Information

Only make cuts in the top plate. Make sure not to damage the plate underneath when doing this.
Mark and make cut. → Distance to hole (center): 65 mm

Drill out spotweld A through two plate thicknesses.
Drill out spotwelds using Spotweld Drill .

Loosen welded joints.

1. 5.1. Drill out spotweld from outside.
2. 5.2. Grind down MIG seams.
Grind down spotwelds from outside.
