Installing C-Pillar Reinforcement (Section)

  1. Apply adhesive.

    1. 1.1. Evenly apply adhesive to the marked areas (-A-  on the inside).

      Working with body structural adhesive → 5X00IN WORKING WITH BODY STRUCTURAL ADHESIVE

  2. Fit and secure C-pillar reinforcement.
  3. Weld in C-pillar reinforcement.

    1. 3.1. Resistance spot-weld C-pillar reinforcement.
    2. 3.2. Plug-weld C-pillar reinforcement in the area -A-  using inert gas.
  4. Apply a full weld to C-pillar reinforcement using inert gas.

  10. Install rear side section. → 535555 REPLACING REAR SIDE SECTION  - section on "Installing"
  11. Install outer side member (rear section). → 514555 REPLACING OUTER SIDE MEMBER - section on "Installing"
