Removing Spare-Wheel Well And Side Floor Section

Information

All straightening work on the body in the connection area of the sheetmetal parts to be replaced must be completed before the damaged parts are removed.

Remove lock carrier. → 530955 REPLACING LOCK CARRIER - section on "Removing"
Separate spare-wheel well and side floor section using rough cuts.

Detaching right and left floor section.

1. 3.1. Drill out spotwelds using Spotweld Drill .
2. 3.2. Grind down MIG seams in area -A- .
3. 3.3. Remove right and left floor section.
Detach spare-wheel well.

1. 4.1. Drill out spotwelds.
2. 4.2. Heat up connection areas using a hot-air gun.

3. 4.3. Remove spare-wheel well.
