Removing Rear Tie Rod (Toe Control Arm)

Mark the position of the eccentric screw -3- on the tie rod -1- for re-installation -2- .

Release tie rod at the chassis subframe (eccentric screw) and wheel carrier. Pull out tie rod.
To make removal easier, raise the wheel carrier slightly using a universal jack! → Lifting wheel bearing housing (example) Use a rubber base to prevent the wheel carrier from slipping!
