Removing Directional-Control Valve

Information 

Before disconnecting the water lines, it is essential to observe the safety instructions.

Danger of scalding.

The coolant temperature can be over 100 °C when the engine is warm. The cooling system is pressurized.

Before starting repairs, reduce the pressure and temperature if necessary.

  1. Close off coolant hoses with hose clamps 3094  , loosen spring band clamps -4-  on the directional-control valve -2-  using assembly pliers Nr.72-1  and pull coolant hoses off the directional-control valve.
  2. Disconnect plug connection -1-  from the directional-control valve -2-  .

  3. Loosen and remove screws -3-  from the directional-control valve -2-  .
