Removing Boost Pressure Sensor

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2018 Porsche Cayenne, 2017 Porsche Cayenne, 2016 Porsche Cayenne, 2015 Porsche Cayenne, and 2014 Porsche Cayenne. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Disconnect electric plug connection -arrow- on the boost pressure sensor.

Remove screws. Pull boost pressure sensor out of the adapter.

Cylinder bank 2 (left):
1. 1.1. Expose vacuum hose -1- .
2. 1.2. Unscrew screws -arrows- and remove cover -2- .

Continue as follows for both sides:
1. 2.1. Disconnect electric plug connection -1- .
  NOTE:
  Dirt on injection system components
  - Material damage
  - Rough-running engine
  - Bad exhaust emissions
  → Thoroughly clean connection points and adjacent areas before loosening them. If the engine is very dirty, wash it before starting disassembly work.
  
  → Lay removed parts on a clean surface and cover them. Do not use fibre-shedding cloths.
  
  → Carefully cover components or seal them if repair work will not be carried out immediately. Place rubber caps on connections. Seal intake openings with film or adhesive tape.
  
  → Only install clean parts. Do not take spare parts out of the packaging until just before installation.
  
  → Never use compressed air when the system is open. Do not move the vehicle.
2. 2.2. Unscrew screws -arrows- and remove boost pressure sensor.
