Installing Intake Manifold

NOTE: Sheared-off sealing grommet on turbocharger intake pipe

Risk of damage to turbocharger

→ A previously used intake pipe must not be re-used

→ Replace intake pipe and sealing grommet

→ Replace hose clamp

→ Coat area around sealing grommet on new intake pipe with water during fitting

Install new intake manifold -4- with a new sealing grommet
Observe marking for correct installation position → Installation position of intake manifold

Fit and tighten new hose clamp -3- . → Tightening torque: 5.5 Nm (4 ft. lb.)
Fit hose for recirculating air valve -2- and tighten hose clamp -1- .
