Installing Compressor Control Flap

- Install compressor control flap:
- 1.1. Install connecting tube -1- with adapter (intermediate flange) -2- and compressor control flap -4- with new O-rings.
- 1.2. Tighten screws -5- and -6- hand-tight.
- 1.3. Tighten screws -6- to the specified tightening torque.
- 1.4. Tighten screws -5- to the specified tightening torque.
- 1.5. Re-connect electric plug connection -3- .
- Screw on fuel pipe -arrows- .
- Further installation is performed in reverse order.
Information
The PIWIS Tester II 9818 instructions take precedence and in the event of a discrepancy these are the instructions that must be followed. Deviations may occur with later software versions.
- If the compressor control flap was replaced, adapt the engine control unit.
- 4.1. Connect and start PIWIS Tester II.
- 4.2. [Maintenance/repairs] must now be selected.
- 4.3. [Short test] must be selected and activated.
- 4.4. Adaptation values are then reset.

- 5.1. Connect and start PIWIS Tester II.
- 5.2. [Drive links] must be selected.
- 5.3. [Compressor control flap] must be selected and activated by pressing [F8].
