Installing Drive Head

  1. Clean sealing faces to remove any oil and grease.
  2. Before installation, always clean the threaded bores for the drive head in the bearing cover with a thread cutter to remove any residual particles.

    Information 

    It will not be possible to check the oil level later.

  3. Fill 150 ml of compressor oil  into the bearing cover.
  4. Insert decoupling spring into the decoupling element.
    1. 4.1. The end -1-  of the decoupling spring must engage in the bore -arrow-  in the decoupling element at the rear.

  5. Apply a thin coat of sealant on the sealing face of the drive head.
  6. Fit drive head on the compressor housing (be careful with the dowel sleeves).
  7. At the same time, turn the poly-V-belt pulley until the other end of decoupling spring engages in the bore in the decoupling element at the front.
  8. Further installation is performed in reverse order.
