Removing Cylinder Head Cover For Cylinders 4 - 6

Replace sealing rings, seals and O-rings.

Information

For better access in the engine compartment, use Support 9866 .
Fit support -1- instead of torque support .
The engine can be moved by turning the hexagon (a/f 17) to the left or right -arrows- .

Unscrew fastening screws -1- and -2- .
Swivel wiring harness -3- aside.

Loosen union nut securing high-pressure line -5- to fuel collection pipe.
Information
- Fuel lines must not be bent .
- Bent fuel lines must be replaced .
Swivel high-pressure line -5- aside.

Unscrew fastening screws -1 to 14 - .
Replace Aluminum Screws .

Remove cylinder head cover.
