Preliminary Work

  1. Remove camshafts → 150520 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CAMSHAFTS 
  2. Take rocker arms out of the cylinder head and lay them on a clean surface, arranged according to cylinders and valves. For details of parts, see → 155919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HYDRAULIC TAPPETS . Do not get components mixed up.
  3. Remove spark plugs → WM 287020 REMOVING AND INSTALLING SPARK PLUGS (CAYENNE) .
