Installing Guide And Tensioning Rails

The tightening specifications for the basic engine are stored centrally (→ 1001IN TIGHTENING TORQUES, TIGHTENING SEQUENCES, ASSEMBLY OVERVIEWS ).

by fitting the fastening screws -5-

- Fit the guide rail -3- . The small tensioning rail is locked on the guide rail with -6- . Slide the guide rail onto the threaded peg and move it into the correct installation position with respect to the fitted oil pump drive chain. Pull the locking pin (the tensioning rail becomes attached).
