Removing Solenoid/Hydraulic Valve For Camshaft Adjuster

  1. Unscrew fastening screws for hydraulic valve -4-  .
  2. Carefully pull the hydraulic valve -3-  up and out. To do this, use Relay Puller 9235  . Hold hydraulic valve only at the metal insert.

    1. Screw, M12 Tighten Fully After Setting Timing  .; Screw must be replaced.
    2. Camshaft adjuster with integrated hexagon for countering
    3. Hydraulic valve for camshaft control
    4. Screw, M5 x 12
  3. Inspect strainer of hydraulic valve and clean with solvent naphtha if necessary. Replace hydraulic valve if heavily soiled.
