Installing Solenoid/Hydraulic Valve For Camshaft Controllers

NOTE: Incorrect handling of sealing rings and covers

Leaks
Risk of damage to components

→ Use clean tools without burrs.

→ Make sure not to leave any scores or scratches when cleaning.

CAUTION: Risk of damage to solenoid valves!

Sealing ring can be damaged.
Incorrect Tightening Torque.

→ Press in solenoid valve firmly with your hand.

Install solenoid valves.
1. 1.1. Coat sealing ring with clean engine oil.
2. 1.2. Carefully position solenoid valves vertically with respect to the valve axis and press them as far as they will go into the housing with your hand.
3. 1.3. Tighten fastening screws arrows to → Tightening Torque: 4 Nm (3 ft. lb.) .
