Assembly Overview - Drive Chain For Timing Drive Mechanism

  1. Guide Rail
  2. Screw Replace → Initial Tightening: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.) → Final Tightening: +90° 
  3. Screws Replace → Initial Tightening: 5 Nm (3.5 ft. lb.) → Final Tightening: +60 Nm (+44 ft. lb.) 
  4. Bearing pin, for drive sprocket
  5. Drive Sprocket, For Left Timing Chain
  6. Screw Replace → Initial Tightening: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.) → Final Tightening: +90° 
  7. Drive Chain, For Timing Drive Mechanism
    • For re-installation, mark rolling direction with paint/color marker
  8. Screw Replace → Initial Tightening: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.) → Final Tightening: +90° 
  9. Guide Rail
  10. Screw Replace → Initial Tightening: 8 Nm (6 ft. lb.) → Final Tightening: +45° 
  11. Bearing Plate, For Drive Sprocket
    • Asymmetrical version
  12. Drive Sprocket, For Right Timing Chain
  13. Thrust Washer
    • Asymmetrical version
  14. Bearing Pin, For Drive Sprocket
    • Asymmetrical version
  15. Screw Replace → Initial Tightening: 30 Nm (22 ft. lb.) → Final Tightening: +90° 
  16. Seal Replace 
  17. Chain Tensioner
  18. Screw → Tightening Torque: 9 Nm (6.5 ft. lb.) 
  19. Crankshaft
  20. Screw Replace → Initial Tightening: 10 Nm (7.5 ft. lb.) → Final Tightening: +90°
