  1. Remove cylinder head cover (valve cover) on both cylinder banks. → WM 158219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CYLINDER HEAD COVER (CAYENNE GTS & CAYENNE S)  .
  2. The spark plugs should be removed to make the crankshaft easier to turn. → WM 287055 REMOVING AND INSTALLING SPARK PLUGS (CAYENNE S, CAYENNE TURBO, CAYENNE GTS, CAYENNE TURBO S, CAYENNE TIP "PLATINUM EDITION" & CAYENNE TIP (3.0) "PLATINUM EDITION") .
