Removing ATF Thermostat

WARNING: Hot fluid

→ Let the fluid cool down.

→ Wear personal protective gear.

Place oil collecting container underneath the vehicle.
Loosen fastening screw -1- on holder -2- for ATF lines -3- for the transmission at the thermostat -4- .
Pull ATF lines -3- from transmission to thermostat out of the thermostat -4- .
Close off the lines with suitable stoppers.

Loosen fastening screw -1- on holder -2- for ATF lines -5- at the thermostat -3- .
Loosen fastening screw -4- on the ATF thermostat -3- .
Pull the ATF thermostat -3- down off the ATF lines -5- for the cooler and towards the rear -A- . Close off the lines with suitable stoppers.

Remove ATF thermostat.
