Installing ATF Thermostat

Information

The sealing rings at the ends of the ATF lines on the transmission and cooler sides must be replaced before installation .

Replace sealing rings on the disconnected ATF lines and smear with ATF.
Fit the ATF thermostat -1- onto the ATF lines -2- for the ATF cooler -A- .

Position ATF thermostat -1- and screw in fastening screw -3- .
Position holder for ATF lines -4- to the ATF cooler and screw in fastening screw -5- . → Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)+/-0.8 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.)
Ensure that the lines are seated correctly.
Fit ATF lines -3- from the transmission into the thermostat -4- .

Position holder -2- and screw in fastening screw -1- . → Tightening torque: 8 Nm (6 ftlb.)+/-0.8 Nm (+/- 0.5 ftlb.)
