Adjusting And Aligning Tailpipes

NOTE: Tailpipe not fitted correctly

Components can heat up

→ Observe exact gap dimensions.

→ After the test drive, check the gap dimensions again and re-adjust if necessary.

Information

If the gap dimensions of the tailpipes with respect to the rear apron are different due to design changes, the tailpipes must be adjusted to a uniform distance from the rear apron.

Tailpipe - V8 Turbo

X - Gap with respect to top of rear apron → Gap Dimension X: 18 mm
Y - Work out gap at sides to the left and right uniformly → Gap Dimension Y: 18 mm
Z - Gap between tailpipes → Gap Dimension Z: 5 mm
