Removing Fuse Element Group C In Power Distributor

WARNING: Incorrect handling of safety bolts
  • Danger of injury
  • Loss of torque

→ Always use new fastening screws and nuts following removal.

→ Observe specified tightening torques.

→ Carry out a visual inspection of all re-used parts.

NOTE: Voltage peaks
  • Risk of damage to loads or to the control unit

→ Disconnect the battery before removing the component or control unit.

  1. Unclip plastic cover -1-  and remove it by pulling it upwards.

  2. Unscrew fastening nut -2-  .

  3. Unclip battery safety switch.
  4. Unclip electric plug connections -3-  from holder for plastic cover -4-  and set them aside.
  5. Unscrew fastening screw -5-  on the plastic cover -4-  .

  6. Carefully unclip plastic cover -4-  and turn it to the side.

  7. Remove fuse element group .
    1. 7.1. Unscrew fastening nuts -1-  on electric lines -2-  .

    2. 7.2. Pull electric lines -2-  up off the studs.
    3. 7.3. Unscrew fastening screw -3-  .
    4. 7.4. Unscrew fastening nuts -4-  and remove disconnect switch mechanism -5-  by pulling it upwards.
    5. 7.5. Unplug electric plug connection -6-  .
    6. 7.6. Pull disconnect switch mechanism -5-  apart.

    7. 7.7. Slide cable shoe and sleeve -7-  out of the disconnect switch mechanism -5-  (-arrow-  ).
    8. 7.8. Remove fuse element group C complete with safety fuses, power track and cable.
