Removing Fuse Element Group B In Power Distributor

Incorrect handling of safety bolts
- Danger of injury
- Loss of torque
→ Always use new fastening screws and nuts following removal.
→ Observe specified tightening torques.
→ Carry out a visual inspection of all re-used parts.
NOTE:
Voltage peaks
- Risk of damage to loads or to the control unit
→ Disconnect the battery before removing the component or control unit.
- Fold up carpet and pull it aside.
- Unclip the small plastic cover -1- and remove it by pulling it upwards.
- Unscrew fastening nut -2- on the fuse element group.
- Release three plug connections -3- from the holders for the large plastic cover -4- on the power distributor and unclip at the sides.
- Unscrew fastening screw -5- on the large plastic cover -4- on the power distributor and unclip at the sides.
- Carefully turn the large plastic cover -4- on the power distributor to the side.
- Remove fuse element group B

- 7.1. Unscrew fastening nuts -1- on the three electric lines -2- .
- 7.2. Pull the three electric lines -2- up off the studs.
- 7.3. Remove cutoff relay.
- 7.4. Pull off electric plug connection -3- .
- 7.5. Loosen the fastening nuts -4- on the disconnect switch mechanism.
- 7.6. Pull the disconnect switch mechanism -5- up out of the brackets and carefully place it aside.
- 7.7. Remove fuse element group B in an upward direction.
