Removing Optical Contacts On Connector Side

Use Release Tool Set WE 1623 to open the secondary lock. Guide the tool into the opening provided and lift the locking mechanism. The locking mechanism engages in the upper position.

Release Tool Set WE 1623 must be positioned on the primary lock. Then lift up the locking mechanism.

Carefully pull on the optical waveguides -A and B- in -direction of arrow- . If it is not possible to pull them out, check again that the secondary lock is completely unlocked and that the primary lock is raised sufficiently.
Visually inspect the locking mechanisms, connector housing and contacts for possible damage and replace damaged parts if necessary.
