Installing Wire Harness For Extending/Retracting Trailer Hitch

Plug in electric plug connection -2- (-arrow B- ) until it engages securely.

Attach tie-wrap -1- to the trailer hitch.
Clip in electric wire harness -1- .

Position connector -5- with rubber sleeve -3- on the mounting -arrow- .

Guide connector -5- into the socket housing -1- (-arrow- ) until it engages securely.

Push rubber sleeve -3- back onto the socket housing -1- .

Open up cover of socket housing -1- and screw in fastening screws -2- .

Attach tie-wrap -1- to the trailer hitch and body.

Guide wire harness -4- in -arrow- through the opening and press in rubber sleeve -3- .

Plug in electric plug connection at the holder -arrow- until the plug connection engages securely.

Plug electric plug connections into the trailer hitch control unit -arrow- until the plug connections engage securely.

Tighten fastening screw -1- for the connector holder. Tightening Torque 4.5 Nm (3.5 ft. lb.)
