Removing Front Wire Harness

Information

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle .
Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well .

USA vehicles

Release and disconnect electric plug connections on the side marker lights.
Vehicles with Real Top View
Release and disconnect electric plug connection on the front camera. → 916919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT CAMERA
All vehicles
Release electric plug connections -1- on the fog lights -a- and disconnect them by pulling them downwards.

Release electric plug connections -1- on the ParkAssist sensors -2- (-a- ) and press and disconnect them.

Release electric plug connections -1- on the auxiliary headlights -2- (-a- ) and disconnect them.

Information

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!
- Assembly work may only be carried out if the mechanic is wearing the working clothes and shoes approved by Porsche .
- The new part must only be removed from the ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging just before installation and at the position at which the part is to be installed .
- Never touch the electric pins and plug contacts .
Release and disconnect electric plug connection on the garage door opener control unit -a- .

Release and disconnect electric plug connection on outside-temperature sensor -1- .

Unclip electric plug connections for the front right wire harness at the front apron.

Disconnect front wire harness -1- from the front apron at the fastening points -2- .
USA vehicles
Loosen sub-parts for side marker lights from the front apron at the fastening points.
Vehicles with Real Top View
Loosen sub-part for front camera from the front apron at the fastening points.
