Loosening Main Wire Harness In Passenger Compartment At The Right

Assembly work may only be carried out if the mechanic is wearing the working clothes and shoes approved by Porsche .
The new part must only be removed from the ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging just before installation and at the position at which the part is to be installed .
Never touch the electric pins and plug contacts .

Release and disconnect electric plug connection for connection point for ABS wire harness at the right -3- .

Release and disconnect electric plug connection for connection point for ABS wire harness at the left -5- .

Release and disconnect electric plug connection for seat-belt buckle on rear seat -9- .
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for PASM control unit -10- .
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for lateral-acceleration sensor -11- at the C-pillar.
Release and disconnect electric plug connections for the fuel pump at the right -12- . → 206619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FUEL PUMP
Screw off fastening nut on ground point under the front seat -13- .
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for control unit for rear-differential lock -14- . → 397519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CONTROL UNIT FOR REAR-DIFFERENTIAL LOCK
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for transmission control unit -15- . → 373019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING TRANSMISSION CONTROL UNIT
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for control unit for transmission-oil pump -16- . → 385919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CONTROL UNIT FOR TRANSMISSION-OIL PUMP
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for connection point for rear door -17- . → 585119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR DOOR
Unclip bracket for plug socket for connection point for rear door and pull wiring inwards.
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for seat-belt pretensioner at the B-pillar -18- . → 691119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT THREE-POINT BELT
Unscrew fastening nut from ground point at the B-pillar -19- .
Unscrew fastening nut on ground point under the rear seat -20- .
Loosen fastening points -2- in the passenger compartment.

1. 24.1. Pull rubber sleeves -3- and lines inwards.
2. 24.2. Unclip cable ducts -4- from the brackets.
Wire harness on underbody in transmission area:
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for connection point for transmission wire harness -21- . → 373519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for servo motor on the transfer gear -22- . → 397819 REMOVING AND INSTALLING SERVO MOTOR ON TRANSFER GEAR
Release and disconnect electric plug connections for the transmission -23- . → 373519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
Loosen fastening points -7- on the underbody in the transmission area.

Wire harness on front door sill:
Release and disconnect electric plug connections for the levelling system compressor -24- . → 431519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING COMPRESSOR FOR LEVELLING SYSTEM
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for the PDCC valve block -25- . → 430419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING VALVE BLOCK
Loosen fastening points -8- at the door sill.

Wire harness in dashboard area:
Unscrew fastening nuts on the ground points at the A-pillar -26- and in the footwell -27- .
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for connection point for front door -29- .
Unclip bracket for plug socket for door connection point for front door and pull wiring inwards.
Loosen fastening points -9- in the dashboard area.
