Loosening Main Wire Harness In Passenger Compartment At The Left

→ Switch off ignition and remove remote control before disconnecting or removing load.

Assembly work may only be carried out if the mechanic is wearing the working clothes and shoes approved by Porsche .
The new part must only be removed from the ESD (electrostatic discharge) protective packaging just before installation and at the position at which the part is to be installed .
Never touch the electric pins and plug contacts .

Wire harness in passenger compartment at the left:

Detach rear floor covering and fold it aside.
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for lateral-acceleration sensor -1- at the C-pillar.
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for the fuel pump -4- at the left. → 206619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FUEL PUMP
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for KESSY antenna in the rear left wheel housing -5- . → 966719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING KESSY ANTENNA
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for front left seat-belt pretensioner -8- . → 691119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT THREE-POINT BELT
Unscrew fastening nut from ground point at the B-pillar -9- .
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for door connection point at the rear left -10- . → 585119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR DOOR
Unclip bracket for plug socket for door connection point for rear left door and pull wiring inwards.
Loosen fastening points in the passenger compartment at the left.

1. 9.1. Loosen fixing clips -1- under the rear seat.
2. 9.2. Release wire harness from cable duct -2- under the rear seat.
3. 9.3. Pull rubber sleeve -3- for line for KESSY antenna in rear left wheel housing inwards.
4. 9.4. Pull rubber sleeve -4- for line to the fuel pump inwards.
5. 9.5. Disconnect pressure line for the levelling system -5- from the bracket at the cable duct.
6. 9.6. Release cable duct -6- from the underbody.
7. 9.7. Loosen fixing clips -8- for line for the rear left door connection point.
8. 9.8. Release cable duct -9- from the underbody.
Wire harness in dashboard area:
Unscrew fastening nut from ground point -12- at the A-pillar.
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for door connection point at the front left -13- . → 575119 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT DOOR
Unclip bracket for plug socket for door connection point for front door and pull wiring inwards.
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for control unit for ParkAssist system -14- .
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for fuse carrier -16- .
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for relay module -17- .
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for gateway control unit -18- . → 903519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING GATEWAY CONTROL UNIT
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for relay module -27- next to the accelerator pedal.
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for front-end electronics control unit -29- . → 944919 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CONTROL UNIT FOR FRONT-END ELECTRONICS
Release and disconnect electric plug connection for accelerator pedal -30- . → 208055 REPLACING ACCELERATOR PEDAL MODULE
Loosen fastenings in the dashboard area.

1. 20.1. Disconnect wire harness from bracket behind the dashboard at the left -10- .
2. 20.2. Disconnect wire harness from bracket behind the dashboard at the center -11- .
