Loosening Main Wire Harness In Luggage Compartment At The Left

→ Switch off ignition and remove remote control before disconnecting or removing load.

Always comply with the regulations for handling ESD-sensitive components!

  1. Unscrew fastening nut from ground point -2-  at the right wheel housing.
  2. Release and disconnect electric plug connections -1-  for connection point on right wheel housing.
  3. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -3-  for subwoofer. → 913619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING SUBWOOFER
  4. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -4-  for rear PDCC valve unit. → 430419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING VALVE BLOCK
  5. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -5-  for connection point on rear apron. → 635519 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR APRON
  6. Unscrew fastening nut from ground point -6-  behind the wheel housing.
  7. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -7-  for buzzer for rear parking assistant. → 917619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING BUZZER FOR PARKING ASSISTANT
  8. Release and disconnect electric plug connections -10-  for connection point on tailgate. → 972719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING WIRE HARNESS FOR TAILGATE 
  9. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -11-  for head airbag unit. → 696619 REMOVING AND INSTALLING HEAD AIRBAG UNIT
  10. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -13-  for seat-belt pretensioners. → 691219 REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR THREE-POINT BELT
  11. Release and disconnect electric plug connections -15-  for Lane Change Assist control units. → 917019 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CONTROL UNIT FOR LANE CHANGE ASSIST
  12. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -16-  for rear KESSY antenna. → 966719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING KESSY ANTENNA
  13. Release and disconnect electric plug connection -17-  for Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM) control unit. → 443419 REMOVING AND INSTALLING CONTROL UNIT FOR TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING (TPM)

  14. Loosen fastening points -11-  for line for Lane Change Assist control units and rear KESSY antenna.
  15. Loosen fastening points -12-  for line for Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM) control unit.

  16. Loosen fastening points -1-  for wiring for the right-hand side.
  17. Loosen fastening points -2-  for wiring for subwoofer.
  18. Press rubber sleeve -9-  inwards and pull line for Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM) control unit in through it.
  19. Loosen fastening point -10-  .

  20. Press rubber sleeve -3-  for line for the PDCC valve block inwards and pull the line through.
  21. Press rubber sleeve -4-  for line for the rear apron inwards and pull the line through.
  22. Loosen fastening points -5-  for wiring for tail light.
  23. Press rubber sleeve -6-  inwards and pull the line through.
  24. Loosen fastening points -7-  for wiring on the wheel housing.
  25. Loosen fastening points -8-  for wiring for connection point on rear lid.
