Installing Upper Part Of Front Lid Lock: Notes

Information
- The self-locking nuts and screws must always be replaced.
- Roughly position upper part of lock -2- .
- Fit fastening nuts -1- so that the upper part of the lock -2- can still be moved.
- Lower the lid slowly until the bar for the upper part of the lock -1- is touching the lower part of the lock. The bar must be centered flush with the slit in the lower part of the lock -2- .
- Open the lid.
- Tighten fastening nuts to the specified tightening torque → Tightening torque: 12 Nm (9 ftlb.) .
