Installing Lower Part Of Front Lid Lock: Notes

  1. The lower part of the front lid lock is installed in reverse order to removal.
  2. Lower the lid slowly until the clip for the upper part of the lock -1-  is touching the lower part of the lock. The clip must be centered flush with the slit in the lower part of the lock -2-  .

  3. Tighten fastening screws on lower part of lid lock to Tightening torque 12 Nm (9 ftlb.) +/-1 Nm (+/- 0.5 ftlb.)  .
