Removing Front Connecting Link

WARNING: Wheel bearing housing raised incorrectly

Risk of squashing
Risk of damage to components

→ Wear personal protective gear.

→ Do not raise the wheel suspension higher than the normal vehicle position (vehicle resting on wheels).

Only for 19-inch brake system:
Remove air guide. → 407719 REMOVING AND INSTALLING FRONT STABILIZER (PDCC)
Raise the vehicle.
Loosen the bottom fastening screw -2- on the connecting link -5- .

Raise the lower axle support -3- as far as required using a suitable jack -4- so that the upper fastening screw -1- on the connecting link can be loosened and removed easily.
Remove the connecting link -5- .
