Removing Wiper Arm For Rear Window Wiper System

CAUTION: Electrically moved components

Danger of limbs being trapped

→ Switch off electric power to drive motor.

→ Make sure it does not switch on again.

→ Check that there is no electric charge.

Switch off the wiper actuating mechanism at the steering column, switch off ignition and remove remote control from the ignition lock.
Information

To position the wiper arm for the rear window wiper system correctly during installation, it must be at its end position (horizontal).
Open the cap -1- (-A- ) and pull it up and off -B- .

Lever the spray nozzle -1- off the wiper shaft using a screwdriver -2- .

Screw off fastening nut -1- .
Pull wiper arm -2- off the wiper shaft using pole terminal puller WE 1660 .
