Removing Evaporator
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 8 other vehicles, including the 2018 Porsche Cayenne, 2017 Porsche Cayenne, 2016 Porsche Cayenne, 2015 Porsche Cayenne, and 2014 Porsche Cayenne. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Remove expansion valve.
- Disconnect electric plug connection on the evaporator temperature sensor -2- .
- Disconnect wiring harness -2-
in the colored area and set it aside.
- 3.1. Disconnect electric plug connections on the servo motors.
- 3.2. Disconnect wiring harness -2- from the brackets on the heating/fresh-air unit -1- .
- Remove upper part of evaporator housing -2-

- 4.1. Remove foam seal -2- .
- 4.2. Unclip locating pin -1- (-arrow A- ) and pull it out -arrow B- .
- 4.3. Loosen fastening screws -3-

- 4.4. Loosen clamps -7- carefully. The clamps are not available as spare parts and must be re-used.

- Remove evaporator -2- from lower part of evaporator housing -1- (-arrow A- ).
